Christmas is in July at King William Miniatures & Collectibles! Up above in the picture is one of our displays which we have planned. Unlike the typical miniature & Dollhouse shop, we also are expanding into items that compliment your home, and your collection of dolls or dollhouses,such as these wonderful porcelaine doll, Santa and Victorian era inspired angel ornaments as well. Shown here is our Christmas in July display at the front of the store to show how you can showcase your collection in a lovely vignette using small trees and some of our foldable stackable tables- an affordable option when decorating your home or doll or display room!
The picture above is done using two small faux trees with white lights. I have used a wood display unit, covered with a simple cream damask tablecloth in the largest size I could find, which will drape over the unit and the small folding tables I sell. On it are the large doll in an antique dress, one of the Melissa & Doug plushies in white, baskets of ornaments, a Cupid/angel candleholder (also for sale in our shop) and the trees lit. The colors I have used in cream, white, pastel pink and blue, gold and silver compliment summer and this display could stay up in your doll /display room area all year round, showcasing antiques/reproduction ornaments or dolls all year round. NEW SUMMER HOURS- PLEASE READ!
We have new SUMMER shop hours. Check our Contact Us page for our phone and email contact info. The new hours have come about because of Summer, and planned events such as vacation, outside activities, we will be planning to do. Sunday & Monday we are closed, Tuesday- 11 am to 4 pm, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday we will be open 10 am to 5pm. Saturday- 9 am to 3 pm. I am also currently planning my business schedule/vacation calendar, and the shop will be closed from July 8th- to July 15th for inventory and redecorating of the shop. Orders will be processed as usual, though it may take us longer to answer emails. I am also currently planning on attending Aztec Trade show in August, & will update in a future newsletter on that schedule.
